More Spring colour...

Well - I did promise you some more pictures of what's out and as I was working today, took some more whilst taking a breather in between arduous digging, and thought you might enjoy these!

Spring is such a fabulous month and after a month or two of dormancy in the garden it lifts my spirits to see everything coming to life again - the colours are amazing, some so delicate and yet others so vibrant - what more can I say to do them justice?

Wow Miranda...absolutely lovely. Your sedums are so far advanced, make mine look pathetic. We had bitterly cold winds yesterday and rain, today it is sunny!! Could I ask for your help, here is plant on my blog that I need to be identified. Please go to post What is this plant. No one knows what it is, including me. Your help would be so gratefully received.
Hope you are coping with your work load and managing to find some time for yourself.
Enjoy.

A wonderful montage of Spring in all its glory :) Such exquisite beauty after dull winter must make the heart sing. We're still snowed under...

Thanks Wildlife Gardener... glad you enjoyed the pictures - I love this time of year and every day you go out something new has started to emerge... we've literally had no snow this year so far - probably the reason everything is quite so far on! I must admit I love snow too - was one of the great things when I was living in Scotland for a while - so enjoy! I had a quick flick at your site last night and love all the pictures of your bird table plus the garden pics with and without snow - beautiful! Miranda

Miranda: Very nice photo journal. I know about arduous digging... Have been doing a lot of that lately...AND about needing a breather. You have really been busy!

Thanks for taking time to update us with your wonderful spring blossoms. It is a time of everything coming to life- which makes it hard to resist the thrill of it! Happy gardening ... and digging.

Hi Chris and Meems - finally a few moments to sit and write.... thanks so much for visiting! I love spring but it's been a busy old time recently - in an attempt to get people's gardens looking nice before they head out to Brittany on their Easter holidays! Much like the southern half of England - we had terrible storms over night and they are due to continue here till tomorrow so have planned in a couple of days working from home... so watch this space for another posting v. soon... Your plants look lovely...a real treat for these color starved eyes. I just noticed a few days ago my tulips are emerging. Spring is sooooo welcome after a long winter.

These photographs were lovely to see just before I go off to sleep. Our snow is finally melting as it has gone to 1c for a few days in a row. I can't wait to see some green emerging. I love magnolia buds ... they are so beautiful!

Hi Connie and Kate - thanks for your kind comments and glad you enjoyed the pictures - these were taken in a garden where I was working - it's such a shame as it's a second home and the owners never get to see the beautiful magnolia - I'd happily transport it here! I love this time of year - always full of surprises with new things coming into bud all the time. Looking round the garden yesterday, I don't think it will be long before the Lilac is out - we were very lucky in that we inherited quite a lot in this garden - all be it that it was well hidden having been left around 9 years... so it's been fun re-discovering it all... not to mention hard work!! Look forward to seeing your own spring flowers when they arrive... Have a fun day.. Miranda

Spring has arrived! Such lovely montage blooms on your blog. Here it's spring too, although it bit hard to believe with temperatures around 5 C during the day. But when I look at all the daffodils and other flowers in my garden I know it's true!

Thanks for visiting Yolanda - Spring is a great month, although I must admit the weather outside today is anything but spring-like!
See you again... Miranda
